First, use the Author Name Selector at the left to locate and select the name of the desired author.  (If the author's name is not in the returned list, then no exact match was found in the iBookX Knowledge Base for that name.  That will be the case until a book by that author is first offered here by a seller.  As the iBookX Knowledge Base grows, it will become an increasingly unlikely SmartSearch result.)

After the author is selected, you will be presented with a listing of all known titles by that author, including titles published under variations of the author's name and titles published under known pseudonyms of the author.  That listing will indicate how many copies of each edition of each title are currently offered on iBookX - The Internet Book Exchange, and the price range—by book edition—of those offerings.  (The listing will also include all known books by that author that are not currently offered!)

Finally, you will be able to indicate your interest in seeing detailed item listings of all books by the author, or any combination of selected titles by the author and selected editions of selected titles by the author.

From the detailed item listings, you will be able to inquire about any book, or order that book directly from the offering bookseller.  (We don't sell books on this site; we put you in contact with the bookseller who has the book you want.)

Search tips:

• Just click the "Search" button (without entering a first or last name) to begin alphabetical browsing.  (Enter just the first letter of a last name to begin browsing from that alphabetical position in the iBookX Knowledge Base.)

• Enter the author's last name—or the beginning of it—for targeted searching or browsing.  (Entering just the first few letters of the last name will help reduce match failures due to spelling errors.)

• Also enter the author's first name—or the beginning of it—for additional targeting.
